Rear drum brake conversion

I plan to swap the rear drums (why did toyota do that?) for a disc setup.

Has anyone here done this to a 2nd gen?

I'm fed up having rubbish brakes after/during offroading.

I did a bit of reading and kits are available in OZ, anyone know if I can source one here?

I'd prefer the full kit including proper master cylinder for this kind of setup.

Not enough weight to stop the rears locking up before the fronts.
Unless of course the brake bias is correctly re-adjusted.

Aye, you need a bias adjuster in the setup and a MC capable of the right pressures for an all disc set up, a landcruiser one or similar.
