  • Grew my own

At the ripe old age of 46, I have grown, harvested and eaten my first fruit! 2 sweet peppers, they were nice

They have to be the most expensive and labour intensive peppers ever!

    All my tomato plants died

    Greenhouse next year I think.

We've had a good strawberry and morello cherry harvest.
Managed to collect the cherries before the birds did this year.

                        WOW - spooky.

Last week I made my own spicy green tomato chutney - all chillies and plum toms and cherry toms fresh out of my green house.

An it is lovely - made loads and its nearly all gone already.......

And I am the ripe old age of 46 too!

I dont know if I could bring myself to harvest my own fruit and veg. Wouldn't want to risk not getting a clean kill and leaving a tomato to a slow death. I mean, there's greengrocers out there who'll do it properly for you.
