...should be the first port of call for newbies in search of answers to 'that really annoying squeak' or the use for 'that mysterious red button'

Really folks, I dont want to drive anyone away, but when you've given the answer 200 times already, or seen interminable discussion of the same thing over and over and over again, it makes the place rather dull.

99% of the problems you've had have been fixed by someone at sometime, and all of the mods you're considering have been written up / rubbished / praised by someone at sometime - probably including more photos than you can shake a stick at.

I am getting rather bored of the same old threads - maybe its time to move on, maybe constant discussion of broadband providers, in car speakers, car polish etc doesn't do it for me, but I seem to remember a site that used to be dedicated to greenlaning, overlanding, mud tyres, intercoolers, planes on coveyor belts and heated discussion. I preferred it back then.

    Sorry.

Or will fitting a spare on the roof make you fall over? Ask boyo, he just did 3000 miles round the pyrenees with his up there.

Isn't what you're looking for exactly the same as what you're complaining about? You don't want endless threads about the same thing; unless they're about Greenlaning, Overlanding, Mud tyres or Intercoolers?

At least my ICE thread (fcuked as it is now) was Surf related...

maybe after 13K posts, you've pretty much answered every question that can possibly be asked regarding a Surf.

You need to start a Kinky Boots forum.... I've got loads of questions about that

Well... it IS a 4x4 / offroading site, dedicated to a vehicle designed for such.

If I want to discuss broadband providers, computer parts, car polish etc, there's forums dedicated to such things.

Sorry about the ICE thread BTW

                            Seriously though.
Maybe thats why some forums have a members only section.

I always hated that, but maybe thats why they have it.
