  • New Surf owner needs wisdom!

I bought a JEEP from new(over rated and repossesed!) I bought an old 3.5 4 speed manual Rangy,(fell apart God bless her!) Now I have a 91/92 4runner import! 2.4 auto, 141+k Kilometers on the clock. Everything works too, apart from the sun roof coz I broke it last night. Any advise or anything I should be aware of or need to know? Wot should the tyre pressures be on 265 70 15's I think. I Love her already!
I love her, but she keeps on taking!

The 2 switch thing is to stop dimwits closing the roof on there kids while they are standing on the centre console with thier heads out the top catching flies.
You have to take two hands off the wheel to close it, crash and you all get hurt.......
My second switch is permanently pushed in cus its a crap fit in the hole and gets stuck so i can open and close on one switch.....

O' forgot to say welcome and enjoy.......

And beware the Yeti and talk nicley to the Squirrel... he's a bit sensative...

Never met them but love thier banter........
                    Remember arrows are silent.....................
Don't forget to tell everyone its indestructable as seen on top gear.......

                        Smokin!

Noticed this mornin when startin her she was really lumpy and irregular for the 1st 10 seconds, bellowin black smoke which quickly cleared as the engine settled. Then I noticed a manual choke knob! Am I doin something wrong or is this normal? I always wait for the glow plug light to go out but have never used the choke, is that the problem? And God shes thirsty!

You should NEVER poke an ordinary matchstick in a sunroof switch, toyota offer an emergancy contact maker for broken switches, they are available through me (sole agent) at the reasonable cost of £5 + postage of £5 (first class recorded signed for) they consist of a sliver of the finest norwegan hard wood approx 300mx 3x3m and are in handy boxes of (average contents)
40-45 sticks, i can also supply them with a combustable head for those moments when you are stuck in the heart of the savanna with sod all to light your camp fire with, these are £5.50, let me know if you want some!!!

oh! and welcome to the looney bin

If you think the little 2.4 is thirsty, you ought to try a 3:0 V6 petrol @ 16 mpg
Mine WAS a 150 bhp V6 and ran on PETROL
