OK - here's some of mine - not so many mountains coz they all started to look like, well, mountains after a while - scenery overload lol

Leaving Dover - note the strange Dutch lady

    Finally underway

Gorgeous German Cruiser on the second camp - note the home made pop top

The Basque village of Sara and the church

    Two of Mr. T's finest - 80 vs 78

    Where we went

Abandoned church and village up on a mountain

Outcrop - 100' high, 10' wide - nothing holding it onto the mountain

    A mountain view

    Those Cruisers again

    Some locals blocking the track

    Toy vs LR

Big Red again - on the run from some vultures?

The hermitage of Mary Magdalene in the forest

    Troopie gazes longingly into France

Somewhere in the south of France?

The Palace gazes longingly over Perpignan

    A circle of love

    The Palace meets the Med

It was a great trip - Altas Overland really did a fantastic job with the campsites - they were A1.

At first I thought the routes were a bit tame. Then came the mountains - climbs so steep I had to engage low ratio and snow drive. Low ratio to go UP hill - unbelievable! And with a 4.5 litre lump. Made a massive difference though.

Overall I am well happy - at the end of the day Atlas have to get us home - it's no use trying to smash the truck on some impossible route. Really good blend of road, track, lane, rugged stuff, and moutains galore.

Not sure what the next one will be - I might go north - i.e. Norway and the arctic circle or Iceland? Research required methinks.

I'm off April / May 2010 Morocco and Western Sahara if you're interested? There will be loads of driving though.
