I can see Dawn playing hell up with me if I have working aircon in the LG after I went and ripped it out of the 2nd gen, (which she has now claimed as hers).
No point in binning good kit Matt, where the benefit?
With the 2nd gen I ditched it due to it being a pain in the arse to work around. No matter what you want to work on, the rad or compressor always seemed to be in the way. That one got right on my tits, to put it subtly.
With the LG, the reason I'm considering it is due to the fact that the aircon rad takes up a chunk of space in front of the coolant rad. Don't know if anyone's ever noticed, but I am a bit of a coolant system geek. Plus, as always, it means more fiddling room in the engine bay with it gone.
jeeeez, bin it you gay ginger dildo. thats why the roof unbolts,if it gets too hot open a ###### window and take the roof off,by ripping it out you will get better fuel economy, less weight and more room in engine bay.how many good sunny days do you get up there in yorky land anyhows.
Don't know if anyone's ever noticed, but I am a bit of a geek.
The thought had crossed my mind....
The only reason i'd be tempted to bin it is if the aircon rad really did have a severe effect on the main engine cooling.. why not test your skills an just relocate the aircon rad?!
How's it coming on? You must have some kind of idea how much your going to lift it by now?
