    hey Dieselboy I started out using a hairdryer & it actually (in my opinion) makes the whole job much longer.
    Use a heat gun its way quicker. Hold the heat gun about 5/6 inches away from surface & you will not damage the paintwork.
    Im a total beginner at this stuff & I havent done any damage to the paint.

      if you cant get them off with a hair dryer as i did then get one no make that two of these off e/bay

        i know it may sound daft but try WD40 or cheaper penetrating oil as normally works for removing sticky sh*t off glass and paintwork! OH says try mayo if that dont work??

          or try an angle grinder and get a beautiful shine on the bare metal

            i was told a long long time ago that if you mix ferret 5h1t with horse wee you can remove stains from just about any thing .give it try it might work

                hi mate no but if you rub the ferret on it very hard that will remove the mud
