Core plugs are round and in the block itself.

NO its coming from the hole you see in the pic as described in other post

it is on the back of the engine block.

but how when i fill it up with water it gushes out the hole you see in photos but when i put my finger over the hole it stops leaking ...?

its not leakin from the back its leaking from the hole, under neath the bell housing.

Because the leak is from the engine block into the bellhousing. It is only running out of there, not leaking from there.
