Okay, I know this isn't exactly the right place for this kind of query but you guys are normally a font of knowledge on most subjects.
Bear with me here as I may not be 100% correct in my terminology. I've joined Astraweb as a server, have Grabit to download NBZ files and I'm using Merlins Portal to find files. Sorry this a bit vague but I'm new to this newsgroup malarky.
The thing is that although I have 10mb broadband my download speed maxs out at around 1200kbps. I thought the whole point of paying Astraweb and that ilk was to max out your download speeds.
Shouldn't I be getting around at least 5mbps downloads or have I missed the point? (Which is most likely the case!)
