sun visor for surf

i would like a sun visor for the surf, does anyone know anything about these? im talking about the thing that you can add onto the top of the windscreen / roof and it looks like your surf is wearing a baseball cap.

ive been googling for some USA 4runner sites as i think that will be where i'll get one. im not sure how it fixes to the roof / screen though. any ideas?

Lord Lucan (Terry) sold one about 6 weeks ago, it went for crazy money if I remember correctly.

As BDT2 says, a lot of people don't like them, but as always it's all down to personal preference.

The one Jaky Cakes has on his truck looks nice though (IMHO of course).

they are like rocking horse shite to get hold of to tell the truth and you will pay big money for them aswell.Occassionally they are on ebay but not very often.I think i have only ever seen 2 for sale on ebay

i was looking at some from the states a few years ago, complete with marker lights etc, they just "clip" on apparantly, these were for the 4 runner (US) but i recon you could adapt one to fit without much bother, personally i like em but i doubt you'll fine a mud plugger worth his salt who'd aggree

its blue, but i want a certain visor, it has to be one you get from chessington world of adventures back in the early 90s.

ive noticed the powder coating underneath my truck has started to peel, what do you think i should do abou that? hammerite spray paint or paint and brush... ?

i just bought a visor today,picking up at santa pod hopefully,as for the underneath of yours,incidentally mine needs doing,u have loads of choices,personally im gonna shultz mine,well hopfully ian will in his garage

I can't remember where i got mine from - other than an online supplier - based in the UK. I seem to remember i got it from one of the suppliers listed in the accessory suppliers listed on this site in the links section - but can't say for sure.
Mine has two stainless brackets which are secured into the windscreen pilar behind the rubber seal. It can rattle a little at motorway speeds but other than I've had no probs in 4 years.
