  • Hello from the Pyrenees!

Well, we're about 30km north of Pamplona. Today we've been up to 4000ft, and a landy got stuck!

The guide, me, big Pete, Boyo and a guy in a disco got through this fairly technical but not THAT difficult climb (I didn't so much as spin a wheel) and we were sat at the top of the climb waiting for the second group when a plaintive cry came on the radio about a disco stuck. In the end, the group turned round and met us further down the road as the guide said if he got stuck there, he difinitely wouldn't make the rest of the climb!

    So thats 1-0 to Toyota!

However, I must temper this with the fact that the owner is a lovely chap.

Might even pop some pics up later if not too p1ssed!

Staying safe! There was fog (well, cloud) at 4000ft on our descent, and we could see maybe 10 yards, which was a bit of a bum clencher knowing we were on the north side of the ridge with an unseen plunge to a fiery death!

        Happy Valley? Pah!!!

You should be used to fog and mist living as close to wales as you do...
The malverns are nearly always covered in cloud and rain from where i live..
                  Have a safe one......

Boyo has been well behaved. The beer has been from bottles so far. Not much in the way of 'local' places to drink.

Early finish today as one of the tracks we were going to drive has been closed (yes, happens here too) so we are sunbathing / downloading pics of cameras etc this afternoon - oh, and spanner dave is filing holes in the truck.
