Found out that they do the 16oz bottle too, so got that one ordered. Should last me out.

16oz should last you forever. You only use a thin coating and allow to go tacky before assembling. Too much and the excess just gets squeezed out and wasted.

Good. When I was looking on their site, it only cost an extra £4 or so for the larger bottle, so it seemed a shame not to be prepared when it was less than double the cost for four times the quantity. (Yup, I'm a hoarder).

So best to stick with the old adage of apply sparingly.

I've no idea. It isn't Stag, (although that stuff looks useful), so I'm assuming it must be akin to that Permatex stuff but produced by someone else. Just can't darned well remember what. Seem to remember it being in a white tube with orange writing, but that's all I can remember, (and knowing my memory even that bit could be completely wrong ).

Still awaiting the delivery of that form-a-gasket at the moment. The order turned up today, but methinks there was a slight error in the order processing somewhere. It most definitely wasn't form-a-gasket in the box. They've dispatched the order again today, so should have it here tomorrow hopefully.
