    has most you lot know i got a sand covered floor
    it weighs less than the carpet i pulled out
    the carpet weighed more than a full front seat?
    makes ya think how much weight could to took out a surf

    I would have thought that head height would be the biggest problem. The roof in a Surf is really low.

    The third row don't bolt into the LC - there are some steel bars bolted onto the sides and hoops in the floor - the seats clip onto these because they're quick release.

    I'll measure the width of the two seats together - that'll be the issue - fabbing up some bracketry shouldn't be too hard.

    Carrying on with my Pyrenean prep - I took the middle row of seats out just now and my good they weigh a ton.

    OK - maybe not a ton but I would estimate 30kg each. So like removing a permenant passenger from The Shed, gotta save me a few pennies in petrol.

    And as they are so thick when folded, I can't believe the extra space I've got inside.

    And no, that desn't mean more junk to take on the trip lol

    BTW - the third row seats have been in the garage almost since I've had the truck.
