might be a market for the brackets then if someone could fabricate them? the shock on it's own was only 32 quid including delivery - The roughtrax one always seems to be out of stock. If brackets could be made for available for a fivers it would be sweet

It would appear that ProComp UK have been replaced as importer by welsh imprter Bearmach. I am currently waiting on a call back from them - they suggested they may be able to supply fitting kit 2504 to go with the 220230 "damper on it's own" that I seem to have acquired! :P

EDIT: got a call back - Bearmach will look to find out how much it is to get brackets added to their orders from the US.

Anyone interested in me asking if they can stock the full kit including damper or is there not enough demand for them?

Bearmach have called back - they are ordering a fitting kit for me specially - £16 plus the vat. Should be here in 6 weeks LMAO!!!

Worth the hassle - no - but proof that you can get hold of the kit via another supplier!

I need to get hold of them about supplying me bulk shocks again, but others dealings with them havn't inspired confidence. So been putting it off. lol

Semed ok so far, they were helpful and communicative. Interesting that 2 people have had bad experiences which is a shame. Let me know how you get on with Adam. If you mention that I ordered one already I am sure they can just add it onto their import order.

Incomming silly question

My Power steering Pump is quite noisy when Cold, would one of these put more pressure on it and therefor make it fail faster.

Called Bearmach in Wales who were very helpful. I couldn't find a ProComp part number but they will look one up.

Do I need to seperately order a mounting kit or should it come with the kit to mount in place of the 2nd Gen Surf shock?

The pro comp part number you require is 220504 for the complete kit.
