  • Exhaust downpipe has a hole in it

I was driving along today with the window down and as I went through a narrow street in the village I noticed that the exhaust was blowing. I looked under when I got home and there was a 2in by 1in hole in the downpipe. I have bandaged it for now.
Do I just replace the pipe or is it best to replace the complete exhaust?

If the rest is OK, just replace the downpipe.

Just replaced mine was a bugger of a job. Went for genuine Toyota one from Roughtrax fitted like a glove, you will need lots of socket extension bars though.

Aye wot he said, although if you have a body lift you can get at two of em through the wheel arch and the one at the back with three socket extensions and a uj thing, BUT if your trucks bog standard you'll have to remove all that heat shielding shoit,
