  • where to buy a pair....

of front cabin heater matrix supply hoses? 2nd gen 3.0l - these are the external hoses that attatch to the heater control valve in the engine bay and run down to a connector just behind the turbo.
mine have been repeatedly butchered by myself when experimenting with heat exchangers for veg - and now I've finally come up with the best method of running pipework - my pipes are shot...so need a new pair.
milners / roughtrax don't stock them.
anybody got any kicking about in their shed or know of a supplier??

I was contemplating making them out of polished custom bent copper tube but unsure of effects of the engine coolant.

Copper tube should be ok with coolant, i've copper and brass in the system and no ill effects, it was i believe veg oil and copper that was a prob, i take it you cannot get ordinary heater hose to bend sufficiently tight for this (without it kinking)?

I might still have some on the breaker here.Once the rain stops i'll have a look for you.I know one short one was cut though but that was only a piece a couple of inches long
If you want new the look here for the part number and then contact Toyota

That's the main problem - but also the pipe reduces from 19mm ID to 16 mm ID at the incomming connection.
If Richard ain't got one then I'll get my benders out - and a few meters of copper - i'm $hit at bending the stuff!! lol

where the mech is on the bulkhead there's the one short pipe a few inches long which was cut tight to the pipe in the bulkhed but the rubber still has a bend in it though
