I had similar, loss of power, no turbo light.

ok this is getting me pised ..
right maybe someone can help. i have a prob with the turbo light not showing under load.. eg the light comes on when you turn on the ignition but once on the move it dont do anything... even right up to the red line nothing.. so is there a gate sencer or is it just ####ed ??? and is it remedied? help please,

I had this problem once. Changed turbo sencer tps and loads of other stuff to no avail. It just got worse and worse. It went on for weeks and I almost scrapped it, until someone on here said check the earth strap on the gearbox. It was loose and a quick turn with a spanner cured all my problems. You can just reach it from under the drivers wheel arch.

nope no splits or out.. and it worked last week then allof a sudden it went ?? fancy comming over to take a look sometime?

i would say a vac pipe is off or split somewhere.I've not ever done any of the seals before so until i have i wouldn't want to try out on yours

and hay is there any one who would like to do some work on her for me??? i haz a leak from rear diff ..?????gaskets me thinketh. so any takers?

tiz 2.4 and please dont forget the 1/4 ok also i can hear the turbo whistling but there is a drop in power.. she dont pull like it did .
