bolted up....
By choice, I'd fold the edges up the same as the side of the crossmember, and weld a gusset across each edge but as we struggled to bend the end up, decided not to till I got a press in the workshop, plus can't weld ally at the moment.
I put the trolley jack under the end bit, and vertually lifted the whole truck off the ground to bend the back bit up, so its plenty strong!!!
The bolts need replacing with countersunk Allen bolts, but I didn't have any.
