  • 2day's damage....

    was not bad at all....

The truck ain't in bad shape at all....

I had the cambelt changed that is much easier than I thought...... only took 10 minutes lol
I had the steering track rod ends done...
    Steering is spot on now....
Then the whole tick over thing has been sorted too now....

I didn't know there is 4 things to adjust hahaha but all done and running lovely...

everything seems solid and good underneath... UJ's etc.. are fine too....

Just has a blown front axle seal... on the passengers side so this will be done on Friday...

And she needs a full bushes set putting on but think I am going to do that myself...
A big service and that is about it I think....

I had a offer on her already today a good one too..... but I am not even close to being tempted in the slightest to sell her......

    She is mine..... all mine....
One day at the time I guess..

Well it has just been set proper...
The reason that it was bouncing in gear was because the Kickdown was set way to tight....
This also caused the rev's to be higher....

So he adjusted the cold start, sorted the normal rev's and then sorted the kickdown cable to be set proper...

So regardless of being cold, hot, in gear, out of gear she runs steady at 800 rev's now....

            Superb...
Sounds much better and feels much nicer..

800 is what I read in the book too she can be 50 over or under though..

She does not bounce any more or anything like that...

            How are you doing?
