Anyway what you doing at a church with a set of ladders, nicking lead? oh and put some bigger tyres on that truck or at least a set of 30mm wheel spacers it would look so much nicer.
i was looking into getting spacers for my truck but i herd they aren't good if you plan on off roading. Are there any disadvantages to adding spacers?

Just the standard 2.4 diff I think. The truck was quite modified when I got it. So am not sure, but it needs lowering its far too high. at 2000rpm in 4th its doing 60mph put it in 5th and it drops to 1500, but then your up and down the gears all the time. I plan on towing my caravan with it so its got to be done. Also I need to do both so I can retain 4 wheel drive.

No just advantages in my oppinion. Improved looks and better handling. If you go higher you also need to go wider or you will tip over easier. I have had 30mm spacers on my little one ever since I bought it and have really abused it off road. Just make sure you get the billet ones and not the cheap see through ones off eblag. Or they will break.

4runners and Surfs are the same vehicle.

will manual locking hubs interfere with the spacers?

so far just a couple odds and ends. when i bought my truck it was missing a spare tire rack, so i tried to fit one from a 93 4runner but it was just under a foot longer than the hilux one so it covered my liscense plate. but i eventully found one from a hilux, cost me 300.00 thou. the ect buttons are diffrent, i've been trying to find one for my surf for about a year now. the wiper arms are diffrent. thats all i've tried so far, but when i changed my ball joints i was able to use 4 runner ones. i'm looking for a new bumper for my truck and i'm going to try to fit a 4runner one, i'll let u know how it goes.

Is you license plate in the center of the tailgate? If it is then you'll need the side mount plate holder when using the rear mounted spare.

Ask on here for an ECT button, I'm sure one of the guys that part out Surfs will send you one.

Here are some spacers closer to you similar to the set in the poat above....
                              http://motors.shop.ebay.ca/items/Aut...86Q2ec0Q2em282

The 4Runner isn't listed but I guess the Tundra or Tacoma 6 lug spacers would fit.
Maybe ask the guys over on Yotatech for confirmation.

And only $68 why do we have to pay twice as much as everywhere else in the world it's not fair.
