    ###### post office! i do a bit of reading and recently got an Ian Rankin "rebus" series book, luckly it was his first and a good read so i wanted to read em sort of in order, got the next one "Hide and Seek "and ordered the third on ebay (Tooth and Nail) nearly finished the second one and the post office have soddin lost the third one, (ebay guys refunded without me saying owt about it and i did leave pos for him, very appoligetic) and just bid on another copy, but WTF am i going to do whilst sitting in the "cloakroom" till this one arrives
any of you read? novels i mean, not can you actually read
been through Peter James and Lee Child (the Jack Reacher series, the man other men would like to be and women want to be with, he modeled him on me) dont like owt to deep or heavy like War and Peace or the Toyota workshop manual just a good ripping yarn.

Hi Popeye, i read lots mate, nothing better than a good book and a nice beer,
for a good crime novel with good story line, try the Inspector Rebus series, written by Martin Cruz Smith, there about a Russian Police man in the perestroika era, excellant read.

I'll have to look that up, sounds ok, only rebus series (made into TV series) i've heard of is the Rankin one, set in Edinborough, thanks for the tip (thumb up smiley)

I enjoy reading crime, thriller, mystery and horror. Stephen King (naturally), Dean Koontz, James Herbert, for a good horror. Karen Slaughter, James Patterson for a good crime novel. I've read books by more authors, but don't want to compile a list a mile long!

Hi Popeye, having a thick day today, the Martin Cruz smith books are about inspector Arkady Renko not Rebus, teach me for trying to think about several things at once.
