Rattle / Noise

I can't remember who it was that had noises but I have just fixed one of mine so may be relevant.

Mine was the exhaust bracket that is connected to the down pipe from the engine and sits under the heatshield. Mine must have been left loose at some stage and eventually vibrated itself all the way off to the bottom bend.

It was ME!!!!

Is it an easy fix?? I'm going out now to check - Its been really bugging me, Its just SOOOO UNCOOL!!

Yes it was easy, 14mm spanner required and a pair of gloves if the exhaust is hot

Did you find it? You have to get right underneath to see it.

Didn't get chance to check before I crashed it, I'll check if the rattle is still there when I get the Surf back. I'll keep you informed

Certainly am! didn't really feel the bump, It just carried on going, That is one mean car!
