Gear help Pls

Hello i have a 2.4TD ,silly question but ive never owned a 4x4 before,just picked mine up today and the 4wd Selector stick(next to the gear stick),the options which light up on the dashboard panel are:
4WD when in L ,A/TP in N,and blank in H

which position indicates 2WD.A/TP?

There is no light for normal 2wd high,If you were to push the button on the side of the gear stick you will get the 4wd light as well. DO NOT drive on the road in 4wd it will wind all your drive train up

i just swear and cuss at my truck that normally winds the gear train up.
