I have finally completed a harp that I've been building for a year and a half now! It will still take me another two to three weeks to bring her to pitch.Thankfully the work is done as I have already been paid It has been the most difficult project I have ever taken on!!!

No, not an Ileach, but I have many friends there. Been visiting for years, mostly the Rinns area but I know folk from all over.

I've seen some of the tuners in the Museum at Port Charlotte and years ago at Finlaggan before they tidied it up.

I hope the person who commissioned this work of art is Welsh - it would make a nice connection!!!! Scottish maker, Irish wood etc

There was a harp maker in my home village in Pontycymer - Merlin Maddock - mental inventor genius. He developed an electronic harp.

Also built a penny farthing which was very difficult to ride, but a luagh once you had it.
