vin number

Hi can anyone help me, I need to know where I can find the vin number on my vehicle (hi lux surf 3.0ltr ssrx) I am in the process of selling it and I have just noticed that the vin plate is missing (I presume fallen off )

I feel sure it can be found on the chassis behind the drivers wheel. It is on my 2.4. Hope this helps.

As the man said, its stamped into the chassis rail, drivers side, ( offside) just aft of the front wheel.
