Was originally going to go 3 way with the tweets on the a pillars, 4" midrange in the footwells (DLS Ref 4a still got them new in box) With a 6.5" in the door.
There was no way the 4" drivers would fit into the kicks, and no way I'd install them in the stock locations.
Went with 2 way in the end. Am still working on the install. - have fibreglass molded filler bits to block up all the holes in the doors, bought the re-trimming fabric, got all the amps / power cable / distribution etc..done most of the damping.
Will actually get round to installing in the next month or so (got the split charge sytem to go in as you may well know
)
If you're going 3 way don't even think of going passive - the different positions of each driver will really need an active set up to get each drivers level correct.

I got 6" infinity reference in the doors, will get pics if your interested..?? Paired with a pair of 6x9 infinity reference in a box behind the rear seat, sounds top notch. (also got an 18" sub to 'slip' in when the back is free from crap)Comment

i managed 6 inch 3 ways in dash,original location,didnt do pics,but its a really really tight fit,u need to be good with a dremel,but even then passernger side nearly catches glove box,oh and i also have 6x9s in the rear,in original location,and also 2 12 inch subs,a 100w amp running the 4 normal speakers,and another running the subs,and 2 blue neons that flash to the music
