Air Con topup

While I'm asking dumb questions .....

Can anybody tell me where the connection point is for topping up the air con on a 3rd gen ?

think i may have seen it by battery on passenger side may have to take out battery , but i may be wrong

Well on mine, (2.7 petrol) the low pressure port (the one you use to re-charge the system) is just below the battery. It's marked with a letter L on the cap.

The high pressure port is next to the horn, between the radiator and the grille.

I've also got to topup the Focus cos I do 500 miles a week in that and I'd rather not fry ......
