I'll make some paper templates up. Hardest bits are getting the curves to the screen and the headlining right, and lining up the mountings.
At the mo, the windscreen end is fitted to the original sun visor & mirror mounting points (longer self tappers), but as there's nothing in the roof at the front edge, I epoxied 5 wood blocks to the roof and screwed into them.
A better option would be to weld tapped tube to the roof and bolt into them, but you'd probably damage the paint on the roof.
Just wondering where to fit the CB mike holder so the cable isn't too much of a pain. Answers on a post card please!Cutting steps in the roof of the world

looks sweet..might add one off those to the list of things id like to try and make..lol
as for mounting to the roof, wood blocks sounds spot on, probably easier than epoxy tho (in terms of 'going off') is some stuff by Evostick called "sticks like sh*t"..an it does, half our showroom at work is held together with this stuff, from basins to tiling..
