Ahh TL1000R.

Of the countless bikes ive had, the TL's in the top five most missed.

The TL is the 1st bike i've owned which wasn't a Ducati!
-750 Monster in Yellow
-900 SuperSport in Red
-900 Monster in Custom Paint (still own)
-1000 MultiStrada in Red (worst bike ever)
-900 SuperSport in Red
-TL1000R in Red (still own)
I do like my V-twins!

NOWT at the mo!

Bought a GPZ1100 bout 22yrs ago, never gone below 1000cc since!
Last bikes have been (as they come to me, not in order)

-The usual YZF
-TL1000R
-BLACKBIRD
-oh, and probably my favorite, old shape 1200 bandit, with a moded grabrail/wheelie bar, so's not to smash back light and reg plate off doing vertical wheelies.

I havent seen anything takes my fancy of late, and i dont like any of the new stuff.

I bought the truck from a bloke in Neston. He said he had bought it to go Green Laning but said that he saw his mates truck get trashed and didn't want to do the same to his one, so was getting rid of it. In steps me and buys it. So it sounds like the same bloke.

I nearly bought one on the Wirral in Wallasey, a Black Surf but can't remember the spec. The bloke called me back yesterday asking if i was still interested? He is moving to Spain next week and wants £750 for it! He might even take less if he is desparate? If anyone wants his number, let me know. I can't account for the truck or him, but its sounds pretty cheap!

Thanks for all the comments. I am looking to get it dirty and have some fun with it (the truck) and would be up for a couple of run outs. Sadly i work 2 out of 3 weekends, but given enough notice, i should be able to check my diary and sort something out!

I think I spotted you last night (Tuesday) driving along Sutton Way, heading from Ellesmere Port town Centre at 6.50pm There can’t be that many white Surfs with a black bonnet around?

Generally I wave (flashing headlights can be misinterpreted).

I didn’t wave to you that night as you would have probably wondered why a guy in a little sports car was waving at a big 4x4 I’m having the roof done on our house so I was moving the little car for safe keeping to some one else’s place.

I’ll give you a wave next time I see you as I’m normally driving the Surf.

You should be able to tell mine, gunmetal grey, Jack Wolfskin sticker in the rear window and V6 badges front and rear

Are you quite local to that area then? I am living with my brither in 'el porto' at the moment but will be moving into my own place in Great Sutton next tuesday, not too far from 'The Wirral' pub.
