    Hi Folks.

I have just bought myself a Toyota 4Runner 3 ltr TD and thought i would put a few pictures up and introduce myself.

I am using the 4Runner as my daily car at the moment, my other car being a BMW Z4 Coupe. I also have two motorbike, a 900 Ducati Monster and Suzuki TL1000-R, so i am a bit of a petrol head.

This is my 1st 4x4 and also my 1st Diesel, so ticking a few boxes by buying this one. I am looking to do a bit of 'off-roading' in it and 'green laning' type activities if i can find somewhere to do it locally and legally. I do not have any experience of this and do not want to fall into the trap of spending £0000's on improvements on the old girl.

So far i have been very impressed with the Toyota or wagon as i call her, but was slightly shocked by the 25mpg! My Zed does better than that, but then it doesn't have massive tyres, weigh the same as a bus or have a 4x4 drive system to haul around.

Anyway, here are some pictures of the wagon, hope you like!

Welcome mate. There's a few members round the Chester area. Bibs and Mudskipper spring to mind.

25mpg? Thats quite good actually. Just wait til your foot gets a bit heavier and you get down to sub 20!

Ey up - how long you had it?

Mate of mine mentioned someone had just bought this one to me a few months ago, said it was waaaaaay to clean to take laning when I suggested they came out with us.

Not actually seen it around but it's a nice lookin' truck.

                Welcome by the way.

Might be out this sat or if not hopefully next Sunday if my mates truck passes it's MOT. Think Nik an Danny are also lookin' at going out mid May as well.

                      ditto..matey

theres a decent group of folks in a reasonable locale for playing out. Should get some decent runs organised over summer.

                            Hi Bibs

I bought the truck from a bloke in Neston. He said he had bought it to go Green Laning but said that he saw his mates truck get trashed and didn't want to do the same to his one, so was getting rid of it. In steps me and buys it. So it sounds like the same bloke.

I nearly bought one on the Wirral in Wallasey, a Black Surf but can't remember the spec. The bloke called me back yesterday asking if i was still interested? He is moving to Spain next week and wants £750 for it! He might even take less if he is desparate? If anyone wants his number, let me know. I can't account for the truck or him, but its sounds pretty cheap!

Thanks for all the comments. I am looking to get it dirty and have some fun with it (the truck) and would be up for a couple of run outs. Sadly i work 2 out of 3 weekends, but given enough notice, i should be able to check my diary and sort something out!

                            Ta ta.

                              Ahh TL1000R.

Of the countless bikes ive had, the TL's in the top five most missed.
