sorry guys, posting this thread brought up links....should have looked first...doh
mine is a manual and running smooth at about 750 so looks about right

Think its supposed to be about 700/800 rpm, but mine sits at about 600. No way to adjust apparently (ran from ecu) apart from the tps which can mess up quite a bit up if you dont do it right (left mine alone as it seemed a bit too complicated)... never really got a good answer about it but the consensus seems be be if its running ok leave it be.
A grown up will probably give you a better answer tho

Mine has a mind of its own....surf that is...
When its cold it's 900-1000
when its hot it's 900-1000 or 600 or 750.....
Tried setting it to 750 with the throttle stop screw thingy when hot.
Leave to cool over night fires up at 1000.
Drive to work so its nice and hot and still 1000
Go out lunch time oh look its 650.
Drive home and its running smooth at spot on 750.
Next day start her up 600.
get to work its a 1000.
Aaaaaarrrrrrggggghhhhh!
Must say missus prefers 600.....wehey.....Remember arrows are silent.....................
