Rear window decided it didn't want to work, tried the window lock button an with the key. Could hear the relay but nothin was movin.

Came on here thinkin' it was the motor - did a search an read about tryin' the rear wiper (which I ain't used since last using the window so never thought of that) an hey presto.

It was the wiper after all.

Yes it needs to be in the cradle for the window to work on 1st and 2nd gens

Another good one is the auto not engaging because a brake light bulb has blown.

Or my brother in law,not being able to get the keys out because it wasnt in park properly.....he sat in it all night till i showed him what was up
