The key in MM comes as a seperate file not as part of the map files. Biohazard posted a link to the paper version in the OS maps thread on here.

I'll try and get files sorted this weekend for you

i had a nice chat to a woman in flintshire council about this very same thing as i was getting confused with the green cross and the dots. the council's answer to OS maps are the green cross are pulcis rights of way open to all traffic and the green dots are paths / roads etc which are on non council land and the land owner has given permission for the public to use them. on the OS key it says green dots are 'other roads' helpful!

going to give it a test next Sunday?

                Gday
I have a Mio C320 with miopocket and oziexplorer ce running on it.
Its great and easy to use and allows me to upload maps etc to it

The other option is to get a hp palm pilot with a gps and run memory map through it.

                Cheers matt
