    god, how hard is it to fit an alternator to a Mazda 323!!!

    there is no way its fitting through any availabe gaps, makes a 2.4 seem like you loads of room.

        A foreign body maybe mate n about my work height too (kneeling, that is) but no Toyota !!

            Don't!!! I took it off the old motor while it was hanging on crane to get room to turn the motor slightly more as it was jamming on engine bay.

            Have fitted and bolted in new motor, sans Alt, then thought hmm, HTF does this thing fit in now.



            Had to undo O/S lower ball joint, pull drive shaft out of gearbox and pull it down out the way to get it in.

            but done now.
