So that fan in front of my rad is for the aircon? Apart from stat change, burping, rad flush is there anything else i can check to make sure all is functioning properly?
My stat was on the bottom pipe of the rad, behind the alternator. ####### to get to... http://www.showmesome.info/hilux/wor...thermostat.htm, however, shows it in a different place with a different rad. Why?

I can't find a Thermo Fan Switch for the 3 Ltrs listed in the EPC. I also don't know why it's so expensive for the 2.4 one. It just a simple switch and normally closed. IIRC it's temperature range is 92 off and 98 on.
Perhaps the 3 Ltr does not have one but something must switch the fan on. I also think the 2.4 one serves a dual purpose and will switch on if engine gets very hot even if the air con is not on.
