Well, its a case of 'let the buyer beware' isn't it?

I'd make sure you have a couple of big blokes hanging around out of sight if they come to pick it up, just incase they start kicking tyres and arguing the toss.

They might just be banking on it being an easy fix - like we told you it might.

Yeah but I think the brakes are gonna need doin for the MOT, which is another expence I cant afford just now, I'm still paying off the ###### cam belt breaking fiasco, its all mounting up, still when I've dug my way out of this hole I'll save for a while and get another, I got a Polo to drive for a while, my god thats going to be hard, but still, this time next year!!!

as they guys have said..the listing seems fair to me..!!

stick to your guns IF they turn up, and be prepared to haggle (if your only expecting £300 you have a nice buffer), just don't buckle to easily.

have you had any contact with the buyer yet..?? If not i'd say theres a good chance he aint gonna turn up. I've bought and sold a few vehicles on eBay, and i tend to arrange collection, or at least strike up communications pretty much as soon as the auction ends.

          Good luck with the sale..

Don't haggle with them the price they bid is the price they pay. If they did'nt want to view it first, tough. If they don't pay report them to ebay and get them an unpaid item strike. Then give a second chance offer to the next highest bidder, if they don't want it offer to the next and so on untill you reach the price you would not sell for.
Its an auction thats the rules.
Btw good luck not that you look like you need it your doing well.

They never do that when i sell something!! nowt to worry about, have someone with you when they come to collect it and you can afford to knock 50 quid off if they play up, but no more than that, stand your ground and as he said, cash before they take it, no cheques unless you make em wait 8 days till it clears,, or the good old paypal

i had a look at this when first listed, the description is fair if the winner is a handy mech then so be it, with regards the zero bidders just cancel there bids, add to your description via revise item and put SORRY NO ZERO BIDDERS OR BIDDERS WITH UNDER 5 RATINGS.
at the end of the day if they are serious bidders they will give you there landline phone number and address, don,t accept a mobile number.
don,t worry about there feelings ..

why should you reduce your price at all, the description says it all, if they are that worried about the state of the vehicle then they should make every effort to see the vehicle before the auction finishes.

Why not? Many people, including me, don't have a landline.
