  • Brake Spanner

    I've had a rush of blood to the head and I'm considering fiddling with my brakes ......

    <Cue sucking of teeth & shaking heads>

    Anyway, I'm going to have to spend some pennies on a brake spanner, my guess is that it's going to be metric, 10 or 11 mm, but does anybody know for certain ?

    Life is too important to take seriously !

      Cheers Richard !

      I've got permission to go for the braided brake lines so I thought I'd change the fluid while I'm at it - although it's dependent on me getting a tax rebate in a few weeks time.

              TIP, to save the master cylinder seals, after you've opened
              the brake line, keep the brake pedal on the floor with a
              weight, stops fluid dripping, whilst you work on the system,
              then give it a full bleed.

              Oh, dont't forget a pair of MOLE grips to undo the brake nuts
              after they've been rounded off, with your new 10mm spanner

              Gman.
              If it aint broke, keep goin' till it is.
