    when using 4wd on sand is it best to use high or low, or is there no diffrence??

    depends what sort of sand, if its hard, 2WD is enough, if its soft, forget about 4WD and buy a winch.



    I'd leave it in 4wd high, unless you get bogged down, then L is easier to pull away as you have more control.

      Depends on how hard the sand is. If we are talking desert type soft sand, 4WD high is the way to go, air down the tyres and keep moving as fast as possible, if it's beach type hard, 2WD is fine, but you might want to take a shovel to test the thickness of the crust. Again speed and aired down tyres is the way to go. You want as low a point pressure as possible.

        cheers guys, i will only be driving on a local ish beach where the sand is often diffrent each day depending on the previous days tide.............
