Hey there all,
just wanted to say hi and comment on what an excellent forum/site this is.
I've just bought a black '96 3.0L Td SSR-X Ltd and am thoroughly enjoying the experience thus far. Its good to know there is such a wealth of information, expert opinion and advice available on here. I'd like to think that it won't be too necessary, but things ain't ever that easy, eh?
The truck I've got seems to be blissfully problem free at the moment, with only one or two minor niggles needing sorted.
For instance, someone seems to have taken a dislike to my little parking mirror on the N/S wing- is it actually possible to get hold of 'em? In black in a perfect world... There don't seem to be too many 3rd gen surfs being broken yet. Maybe thats a good sign!
Presumably the same tool managed to pull the electric ariel out of the wing, but thankfully I still have the mast and belt, so hopefully with someone to switch off the ignition at the right time, I might manage to thread it back into place. Fingers crossed...
