        The Merc's been lowered so its ar5e is almost scraping the ground! What kind of tw@t would do that and think it makes it more desirable?!

        The first Jag looks OK, but the seller sounds dodgy.

        'I bought it for my husband a few weeks back, but he wants a different car' and a £500 start price with no reserve? - hmmm, yeah, sure.

          BDT. I had a phone call from the Merc guy yesterday asking if i wanted to do a deal. I haven't got back to him. As Apache says its been lowered right down an to be honest... its nice but its not monjag nice!

            Don't buy an early S type without an absolutely impeccable service record!!! There is a gearbox issue, It should have been spotted and swapped by now, but if not it'll cost yer..

              Yeah, i heard it was like a 100% failure or something?!?


              I take it there will be paper work to prove its had a gearbox change?

                Yep, that why you need the service history. There's loads about with no history and 'a slight gearbox glitch' for 1.5 to 2k. they are dickhead traps...
