not unless that car in front of you is 100 metres away. say the car in front is 40 metres away from you and you can see it, but you can't make anything out in front of that car then you should still have your fogs on. this was something raised during what they call the "show and tell" part of the practical test.
i swear, it was like that when i got here...

but tw@ts do use them when they shouldn't coz they think its cool and the boy racers can pretend they're in a rally car!!! vroom vroom.
very true! why most people dont know this puzzles me? its in the highway code.
my mate got pulled by old bill once for having them on. they should pull more people for it. maybe that would shed some light on the subject to a lot of people.

p.s. i "think" it also says that they should only be used when visability is less than 100 meters AND only on motorways??
          not too sure tho?

                Not that badly mate.

Ones in the low O/S an two or three of them aint!!

If you need a fog light on then chances are you might not see brake lights anyway... but if you see a red glare become a red glow then hit the brakes or you'll have to ditch in a hedge!!

                sorry couldn't resist!

Either way... they glare a bit more then normal but there hardly blinding.

A little from column A, a little from column B. Actually she's one of the best bosses I've had. She knows how to appreciate a good grafter!
