things like lane domination approaching junctions/r/abouts etc. its your responsibility to not leave enough room for any idiots who may try to limit your ability to safely exit or turn. so if a din decides his rep-mobil can squeeze through the inside and/or outside of you on such a tight turn (therefore utilizing any given lanes in the same manner as if it were 2 cars making the same turn) this is a mark against you for not dominating the lanes sufficiently.

20 years ago when my mate done his test, it was the responsibility of the din in the rep-mobil to not drive like a din.

scrubbing your tyres against a curb is an instant fail if on the front wheels, and sometimes enough for a fail on the rears too, dependant on the examiners discretion.

20 years ago, if you scrubbed the curbs it was nothing as long as you didn't mount them. also, i bet there isn't a single trucker on here who drives all week long without scrubbing a curb at least once.

well i dont scrub my tyres,we have loads at work that do tho,but honestly i used to do 100 thousand miles a year without scrubbing!
ps loving the road dominance bit,that mean i can make "din"aware of me by using full beam plus the roof lights?,ya know domination an all lolol

i lived on a main road (herringthorpvally road (s65 3rt) acident black spot
i saw a few deaths out side ower house 1 car crash killed 6 4 in a mini and 2 in a ford fizzy both went up in flames sadest sound i ever heard
but the one that sticks in my head to most was a biker on some sort of super bike
came down the road at (what souned like ) top speed
the bike flew passed ower house (i was out side)
a bus pulled out of mowbray street
i saw the the back of the bus turn red then heard the bang
the biker ran into the bus at full power
turned out to be middle aged man from scottland somewere
it was shocking to see
that road is still a death trap all tho its not has bad now has it was then
