I live in the Newcastle area and have just bought a surf, very pleased with my one, the person I got it off had another one grey 93, 82k miles not too far from you. I didn't see it, so can't comment on the condition.

hi folks,i went out today to buy a mercedes and came across a 2.4 surf.
ok so why the hell did the merc fall by the way side and now i want this thing instead?.
here we go with the real questions...(honest answers please).
how reliable are the 2.4 diesel surfs?
how much should i be paying for a 93 model?
and why do i want i want it soooooo much?.

Hello Mate. I am from Durham too, had my surf a month now and love it, had a few niggly, minor problems, but the lads and lasses on this fantastic site have been great with help and advice.
You wont regret it.
