If you want to live in a society that locks people up without trial, deports based on skin colour and freely uses the death sentence, feel free to move to Zimbabwe

      or to the US.

Make no mistake - BNP are not pro this that or the other, they are racist. And remember how the Nazis were voted in to power 'cos they looked likely to be able to solve the Jewish problem.

I tend to agree the BNP are racist..but who have us everyday 'Joes' to look after our interests? and there are 'Joes' of every colour unfortunately the main political parties only seem to have their own interests at heart....even the Home Sec has questionable expences claims!!

The Aryan part came later. The first culls were actually on the German population themselves, through Eugenics. A lot of those doctors were later recruited for the concentration camps.

So let's get straight what you're suggesting. You're offended that someone who should be in jail has been compensated for being illegally detained without trial.

So instead of putting him on trial and then locking him up, you're suggesting to allow detention without trial on a politician's word, then replace said politician with a racist skinhead. Who has the power to detain anyone, without trial.

I'm struggling to see what problems the BNP would solve here.

If ya listen to em all (politicians) properly they all make a claim in the name of "their Party" (i think they'd call it singing from the same Hymn sheet ).... Nothing about "the People's" or "the Country's" good ...

And if I gave ya all £250,000 from their fiddling/diddling pockets bet they'd squirm n not be best pleased either !!!!

There's always a Payback .... It'll always take longer than five minutes !!!!

Methinks the point may be getting lost somewhat here. No party, per se, will solve anything. Not, that is, whilst they are allowed to have free reign as they do at the moment. No political party is the cure. The root problem is that largest part of the people in this country blindly accept and acquiesce to the ruling party, and let them do whatever they deem fit, without ever questioning the reasoning. Whilst ever the population allows a ruling party to act like a dictatorship, (and that is what they all are nowadays, to be practical), they can and will get away with whatever they damned well please.

Neither will putting a thinly veiled Nazi style government inplace change anything for the better, for anyone.

Fatfires, sorry, just noticed I phrased last response at you personally, where you'd just agreed they were a bunch of racists...

Was really aimed squarely at anyone with little enough sense to think the BNP would sort out anything (BUSHWHACKER).

Let's not get over excited here. I think what Tony's alluding to is the BNP's great skill at identifying what matters to the man in the street and homing in on it as their manifesto pledges. If you actually ask them what they're about, or watch an advert on TV or something, they sound great.

I took the time at the last election to read their manifesto and a lot of it seems like common sense and good ideas. If you dig deeper into it however, it is deeply fascist. Unfortunately, most people don't dig deeper (or even read it), they see the advert or hear the speech and think the BNP are the people to vote for.

Incidentally, it's not a matter of 'tending to agree' that they're racist. They openly oppose non-white people being in Britain and make no bones about it.

It happens sometimes, normally around local election time. It'll fizzle out soon enough.

I believe you'll find you are misinterpreting Vince somewhat. One does have to admit that the BNP are the single party which do not attempt to veil or mislead with their intentions. However, the intentions they still have spoken of only in private are the real ones to worry about, not the ones they have already proposed in public.

Women and politics are always two things which men will argue over. Leave them to their musings and it will, as Sancho said, eventually fizzle out.

I may have mistaken ignorance for malice. But in a democracy, ignorance is a very dangerous thing, and indistinguishable from malice in a vote.

Of course, he may just have been trolling... Mission accomplished if so!

I didn't say I want them running the country, just that SOME of their policies seem appealing recently..
