I have heard of owners finding it so difficult to live with the colour, that they have swapped their BB Surfs for old BMWs. Hard to believe, I know, but I have this on good authority.

Wodders, If Im lying, its not intentional, its because Ive been misled. Dont want to name names, but allegedly, someone from the forum, swapped his baby blue , because he couldnt stand the shame. He made up some stories about doing high mileages and needing greater economy and such like, but I think we all saw through that.

Ok, I'm having second thoughts.....Why sell, the main reason to sell was the expense of running it, I've got a little 306 to run around in now and could keep the Surf for just towing the horse trailer...one reason was for selling was to get a little horse box lorry, that would be easier to drive around and not so much hassel to park in my drive, but I would still have to insurance and tax the lorry so not much dif really, is there????

Mitsy and Bibs may even be along at some point, so you don't just have to talk to the boys. Thinking about it, there's Linda and EvH as well, and they're both horsey folk. Stay here and abuse us.

id stick with it tbh,yr little truck may come with heap of probs where as u know yr surf
