winch & bumpers

Hi all
Been doing searches on winches and bumpers for a kzn185,but i cant find enough info.
I want to fit a winch to my kzn185,i would like to keep the original bumper but i dont konw if there is enough room behind there, so im thinking of making a bumper.
Can anyone give advice on this and also any tips on fitting and where to get good winches etc
