MG ZT is the way to go Rod. As good as an S-Type and a shit load cheaper. You could pick up a 260 (BHP) V8 for that money.

          Rodders,,,,,,,
If you want info look here..................

          http://www.kelsey-forums.co.uk/cgi-bin/jwm/YaBB.pl

and somewhere on there you'll find a link to the "jaguar enthusiasts club" site

These are the two best jag sites on the net.
Look at peoples avatars and signatures and you'll find a lot of them are in the trade in some way or another and are a pretty reliable source of info!

          Good luck mate

                      About 1

I think it's actually low twenties, but you're talking about a 4.6 Mustang engine here.....

There are, understandably, a fair few LPG converted ones around.

The V6 isn't a great deal slower and gets more mileage.

He obviously means that it looks and goes better than an S-Type and costs less so you should buy one.

An early eighties Mercedes 123 estate is a good buy, I've had three of them and apart from me losing the damn keys I've never had a breakdown with any of em, and you can get classic car insurance with them, very cheap!!
