How do you adjust that stupid mirror thats on the n.s.wing. At the moment its niether use nor ornament,all I can see out of it is how much muck I,ve got on the car. If I can adjust it I would at least be able to see the kerb that I am mounting when I am attempting to parrallel park

You can't.

Well I'm not (even by Japanese market standards) and I'm with Brummie on this one. Even if it was aimed in exactly the right direction (which it's not) it would only show you a 1 inch square section of your wing, from an angle where the kerb is hidden by that chunk of wing if you are closer than 18 inches from it.

Is it a legal requirement in Japan? can't see why else they (and Pajeros) would have such a useless appendage.

I believe they use them to watch the road markings when driving to ensure they are central to the lane they are driving in and not the kerb, but i do not profess to be certain on this and await being corrected by those in the know.

Why start now?

I still feel guilty after finding a small sapling growing in the mud tucked behind the front bumper of my Pajero when I px'd it for the Surf. You couldn't see it very easily so I left it for the next owner.... how green is that?
