Looking at getting a surf this summer.....

wanting to do load's of stuff but i don't think its worth it insurance wise (big wheels and tyres, suspension lift, snorkel) stuff like that, i think if i declare that i will be bankrupt.... i tried before i as soon as a sed a-bar they sed they would, didn't ask why i just put the phone down
buy mine.. Its already had everything done!

I tried getting a quote with churchill when i was 17.. They said untill i was 21 they couldnt help.. I could be 21 with no NCB an only just passed! but i had to be 21.

Endsleigh tried aswell! But they wouldnt touch me. I got with A quote in the end... Wasn't too expensive but apparently thats all down the swanny now an its big money!

Im with adrian flux, 21 with 3 NCB, parked on the street at night, a discount from something else an its about £550ish with all mods declared.. an theres a lot of mods on my truck!!!

Just going back to my sons insurance, when he first passed
his test, (17) we tried a number of rip off merchants for him.

Mini, 998cc 1/2 race engine, wide alloys, bucket seats,
full FIA roll cage, lowered suspension, it was tuned to
the dogs, and man, it wer fast. Declared all modifications.
      1st call , come back when he's 25
      2nd call, 30
      3rd call, decline
      4th call Frizzels L.V. £770.00 F.C. T.P £950.00
If it aint broke, keep goin' till it is.

OMG anything round the 1500quid mark would suit me down to the ground.

I was orignally thinking of getting an Zuk SJ, but every ###### one i looked at was either offroad only [i.e no tax or test] or had a stupid soft top. Is it me or are the hardtop versions [if that's what there called hard to come by, or rare]

I know there very cheap to buy and insurance is cheap[er]. was thinking of getting one of them as a first sorta run around, try and build up some NCB's and when i am a bit older eventually get a surf...

Don't you think "slighty modified" is an under statement?

Got to ask is that full comp / unlimited mileage ? If so I'll be giving them a bell tomorrow...

Pretty sure you're not 120 years old ...
