You should be able to get a very good codition 2.4 for £900 at the min. That sounds like about £600 worth. don't rushOriginally posted by mark1 View PostIve only been to look at one local to me. It was a 2.4 K reg in green £900 but there was a few things that put me off. First off the starter was staying in after start up, no big thing i thought but then i noticed a knocking sort of noise coming from the engine as you revved it up so this put me right off. Also the rear bumper was rusty so the guy hand painted it gold lol
No need to tell you what that looked like

i agree with that as all the 3.0l's i have had as breakers have all had the blown heads apart from Jokers old 3.0l that the engine was siezed.Originally posted by Albannach View PostThere's been a lot of 3.0s with head problems lately.
I think i've had 4 or 5 3.0l's now breaking since last june/july timehttps://www.facebook.com/groups/henpals/

just bought a 3.0 at auction for less than £900, it's not the tidiest but it ain't too bad either, a couple of new bumpers and she'll be looking good again. Only problems so far have been from a badly installed alarm, seems to run well, starts on the button, and all the fluids look clean enough. So so far so good.=========
